Hashtags with spaces
I would like to be able to create hashtags with spaces.
MarginNote can be integrated with Evernote, and the latter allows using tags with several words.
Thus I could add new notes from MarginNote using tags that already are present in my Evernote.

I can't see the point in changing the better tagging system of Devonthink and Tinderbox for thousands of my references, changing spaces for hyphens, ugly and inconvenient for mixing tags and text in searches. Therefore, I do need that MarginNote adopts this feature.

I agree. A closer similarity of tag feature with evernote would be an advantage. I also use multi word tags. Using spaces between the words allows for a better search.

On a tip from another Evernote user, I substituted hyphens for spaces in all my multi-word tags in order to make it easier to send notes with email. The bonus is that I can be consistent across apps that don't allow spaces.
